Did you know that it’s Free Comic Book Life this life? Well it is: all comics are free in this life – and who’s to say about the next? – thanks to the generosity of Mr Stan Lee, an adorably uncley sort who invented the medium we call comic books and all the superheroes so beloved of your local multiplex.
But in a life of free comics, comics unchained and in flight, comics whose parole board hearing finally came through, comics who finally managed to dig that hole and jump over the fence, comics comics fripping everywhere, in a life full of free comics how are you going to pick the right ones to read?

Enjoyable seasonal time to you, dear listener. I hope you’ve had a pleasant nice period of late because this podcast will not add to your pleasure. This is a roaming, windy bit of reportage from a solo Gary Lactus as he goes Christmas shopping and has a bit of an adventure in Rome. Beautiful old Rome, full of really old stuff built in ancient times but most thrillingly, a Metro station named after 80s euro pop mega queen, Spagna!.
So not much comics talk although Gary does find the time to talk about The Twilight Children, Snow Blind, Batman, Grayson, The Ultimates, Newe Roimancer, Amazing Spider-Man, Trees and Head Lopper.

Since time began it is blurb that has kept us warm, fed our children, bought our shoes, made us dance, laugh, cry and win prizes. Every day we take blurb for granted but no one truly knows what it is. Blurb, science’s last great mystery. As we discover more about our universe, it’s easy to feel there are are no mysteries left. We can put man on the moon, build robots that cook dinner and teleport to Kent but we are no closer to understanding blurb now than we were in the Flintstone age.

Together they make a podcast which people hear around the globe. The man imagines that the people who shunned him in the bar must be feeling pretty silly now. Yeah.
