This must be one of my favourite “Termini”. The notion of finding wonder in a private space of one’s very own is conveyed so well. Queen of the Garden, indeed. And the needle as a nod to the classical “The Incredible Shrinking Man” flick is ace.
One of the best 50′s sci-fi films, period. Jack Arnold produced a smart, scary and extremely unsettling little B-movie. Modern turd-busters like ‘I am Legend’ or ‘Minority Report’ could learn a lot from it.
