Albeit through different eyes I could see a connection to Biscuit’s experience chasing the cat. In an altered state the exploration of an underverse.
I do wish Cindy got to hit something, though. ;-)

I think it’s safe to say both strips indicate that there are some things bigger and scarier than C&B can comprehend.
There’s some foreshadowing there too, but I don’t want to give anything away.
With regards to the corner of the room, that’s based on a proper fever I had as a kid, and when I read Dreans In the Witch House it all made sense…
