Amy Poodle vs The Comics Journal
March 6th, 2011
Finally we can bloody talk about it!
The Comics Journal’s online presence has taken a turn for the better in the form of the Comics Comics crew. Dan Nadel and Tim Holder are at the controls and the comics world is a cooler, more arty place. Good luck, fellas. Long may you reign.
But the big news? The big news is that a certain Poodle will now be blogging over there as well as over here, so if you’ve ever wondered what the guy Grant Morrison described as channelling the Invisibles actually thinks about Morrison’s magnum opus, well… check this out

March 6th was the Romans’ New Year, wasn’t it?

Whoops, there was another comment supposed to be in there too. I’ll just reproduce it here:
“FANTASTIC!”
Liking this, Amy!

Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to be working at the moment, fans. But I’m sure it will be back up by the time you read this (my) piffle.

Top Poodle!
I’m gonna give The Invisibles another go with this in mind now, see what it does to me…

Someone at the Journal tells me, “Yeah this guy/girl Amy Poodle writes about the Invisibles!” I was literally beaming. This is so fantastic.

I’m coincidencing all over the place just now – just started an Invisibles reread at the end of last week, for the first time in yeeears. Be good to read it with Amy Poodle article in mind, as it’s good stuff!
And I definitely also have problems with that ‘Anarchy for the Masses’ book, too. It sort of tries to take the interest and fun out of the comic? The Morrison interview’s a good ‘un, though.
